At the heart of the African American Lawyers Section (AALS) lies a community that is dedicated, passionate, and relentless in its pursuit of justice, equity, and professional excellence. Since 1992, we've been more than just a collective of legal professionals; we're a legacy. Each member is a testament to our shared history, commitment, and aspirations.
As part of the AALS, you stand with a network of African American attorneys and law students, unified in their mission. Your voice, combined with theirs, amplifies the call for justice, equity, and the betterment of the legal community in Texas and beyond.
From Houston's bustling courts to the historic chambers in San Antonio and the vibrant legal scenes of Fort Worth, Waco, and El Paso, membership opens doors to professional opportunities and collaborations you won't find elsewhere.
We believe in fostering growth at every career stage. AALS hosts a myriad of workshops, seminars, and summits designed to keep members abreast of the latest in the legal field.
Young professionals and students can tap into the wisdom of seasoned attorneys, benefiting from years of experience and insights that only a tight-knit community like AALS can offer.
